Mid-Tote settles a bet at the second-highest of the three Australian totalisator dividends, sitting between Best Tote and the lowest pool. Bookmakers offer it alongside Best Tote, usually paired with a bonus or a top-price guarantee on other bets. It is less generous than Best Tote by design and is normally seen as part of a promotion rather than chosen on its own merits.
