All-Up

An all-up bet reinvests the entire return from one race — original stake and winnings — into a selection in a later race. It is the Australian tote term for an accumulator, and can be placed as a standing instruction with a tote operator so the roll-over happens automatically. All-ups are win, place or each-way, and the compounding works both directions: a single beaten leg ends the bet.

In use

An all-up from Race 3 into Race 7 pays only if both selections salute.
