Double

A double is a bet requiring the punter to select the winner of two specific races, with both legs needing to win for a return. Totalisators run daily doubles on nominated race pairs at a meeting, and bookmakers offer doubles on any two races as a two-leg multi. It is the smallest accumulator and the most common entry point to multi betting.

In use

A daily double on races 6 and 7 pays a single dividend for picking both winners.
