Exacta

An exacta requires selecting the first two runners home in exact finishing order. Getting the pair right but the order wrong loses, unless the bet was boxed. Exactas pay considerably more than a straight win bet on the same favourite because they require a second correct judgement, and they are the cheapest of the ordered exotics to cover.
