Accumulator

An accumulator is a bet that combines several selections into one wager, where the return from each leg is staked on the next. Every leg must win for the bet to pay. Because the odds multiply, an accumulator turns modest prices into a large quoted return — and multiplies the chance of losing at the same rate. In Australian racing the term is used interchangeably with a multi or an all-up.
