Foreman
A stable foreman is the trainer's senior staff member, running daily operations — trackwork rosters, feeding, staff supervision and travel to meetings. In large Australian yards with satellite stables the foreman often represents the trainer on course and makes practical decisions in their absence. The role is the usual pathway to a trainer's licence.
